Witness appeal after suspected hit-and-run accident

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in a suspected hit-and-run in Holloway.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 9.25pm on Friday after the injured man, in his 60s, was found in Tollington Road, near the junction with Hertslet Road and Morrisons supermarket, following a collision with a car. 

The car involved did not stop at the scene.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition, but his injuries are not life threatening. Next of kin have been informed.

There have been no arrests.
