KIDS cooked their first ever Thai green curry and made flapjacks at a cookery class in Finsbury this week.

The Central Street Cookery School, located at St Luke’s community centre, hosted a cooking class for parents and their children. Under the watchful eye of chef Mark Breen, the youngsters chopped vegetables for the chicken curry and prepared a mix of oats, nuts and syrup for the flapjacks.

Next week, there is another cookery classes for parents and children, which can be attended for as little as 50p per person.

The school also hosts half-term cookery classes for children with Masterchef winner Natalie Coleman next month. For more information call 020 7549 8176 or email info@centralstreet.org
