AN Upper Street tapas bar could be stripped of its licence next week after a number of brawls.
The Met police have asked the Town Hall to consider the move at Canas y Tapas Officers said they have had to visit the restaurant more than 20 times in 2016.
“There have been a number of fights in or directly outside and associated with the venue over the last year,” said PC Peter Conisbee. “All have taken place after midnight, many of which have not been reported by the venue.”
A licensing committee will consider the application on Tuesday.
